Charge laid in homicide investigation
The Southeast District Major Crime Unit is advising the public that a man has been arrested and charged following a homicide in Creston.
On July 23, 2026, shortly after 2:00 a.m., Creston RCMP officers located an unresponsive man in the area of Canyon Street and 12th Avenue in Creston. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the circumstances surrounding his death were determined to be suspicious.
The Southeast District Major Crime Unit assumed conduct of the investigation. The victim has been identified as Creston resident Larry John Isaac. Anyone who may have seen him prior to the incident is asked to contact police.
Parker Hills, 27, was arrested on July 23 and has since been charged with one count of second-degree murder. He remains in custody pending court proceedings.
As the matter is now before the courts, no further details will be released at this time.
